Our MonoBoxes are our most popular all-in-one mushroom grow kits for good reason:

They use real and honest cultivation techniques used in the mushroom scene.

And they can support virtually any mushroom species you can think of.

With inspiration taken from the ever-so-popular ‘Monotub’ grows I first discovered on the shroomery.org/forums around 2008, we created a kit I could only dream of when I first discovered mushroom growing in the early 2000’s.

An efficient, beginner-friendly, experience-friendly, cultivation kit which teaches proper growing skills, provides fun (what’s the point otherwise), absolutely maximises surface fruiting areas and provides scope for different inoculation techniques than just a syringe, like agar, grain-to-grain transfers, etc.

By growing on all five sides instead of just one, mushrooms burst from everywhere!

The entire fruiting area for mushroom growth is a whopping 1,245.05 cm² for the XXL. That’s 1.25 metre squared, and from such a compact grow kit.

Why is fruiting area such a big deal? In order to achieve a similar fruiting area from a Monotub grow, you would need a substantially bigger plastic tote with a footprint of approximately 29cm × 43cm, but here the MonoBox XXL acheives the same with just 12.2cm × 18.5cm. The math speaks for itself. If you wanted, you could skip the included grow tent and stack these colonised bricks inside a large plastic tote like a 130L Ikea Samla box for some seriously massive bulk mushroom grows decimating what is possible with Monotubs!

But, not everone want to grow massive amounts of mushrooms. And for this, our XL is perfect as it is half the size of the XXL.

Sterility Guarantee

Before use: if you receive a kit which has contaminated before use, please get in touch immediately.

After use: if the SpawnTubs become contaminated after use, and you are genuine, we may also be able to help.

But please keep in mind, we aren’t buttoned up the back. We’ve been doing this since 2017 and rather adept at spotting chancers and freeloaders.
