1. Conditions for Replacements

Our replacement policies are specific to each product. Please read the relevant section carefully.

1.1 Mushroom Grow Kits & Included SporeKitâ„¢

All our Mushroom Grow Kits include a complimentary SporeKitâ„¢. This is provided so you can test the cleanliness of your gourmet spore syringe before using it on the main grow kit, preventing potential waste.

  • Mushroom Grow Kits: The main grow kit is strictly non-replaceable and non-refundable once it has been used in any way.
  • Included SporeKitâ„¢ – One-Time Replacement: We understand that gourmet spores can sometimes be contaminated. Therefore, we offer a one-time replacement for the included SporeKitâ„¢ if your first test using it shows contamination. You must notify us within 6 weeks (42 days) of your order’s dispatch date to make a claim. This goodwill gesture allows you to test a different gourmet spore syringe. To claim your one-time replacement SporeKitâ„¢, please contact us by email with your original order number.

1.2 SporeKitâ„¢ (Purchased Individually)

If you purchase a SporeKitâ„¢ on its own, we guarantee it will arrive sterile. We will replace any individually purchased SporeKitâ„¢ that arrives damaged or contaminated, provided you contact us before it has been used. Once a SporeKitâ„¢ has been injected with a gourmet spore solution, it is considered used and is not eligible for a replacement.

1.3 Psilocybe Cubensis Spore Syringes

Our spore syringes are sold for microscopy and genetic preservation purposes only. They come with a guarantee of authenticity and viability for this research purpose. If you believe a syringe does not meet this standard, you are eligible for a replacement.

  • Timeframe: You must notify us within 6 weeks (42 days) of your order’s dispatch date to make a claim.

2. Conditions for Refunds

2.1 Eligibility

We will accept the return of goods and issue a full refund only under the following circumstances:

  • The goods have been demonstrably damaged during transit; or
  • The goods received are clearly different from those ordered.

In such cases, the recipient must notify us within 72 hours of receiving the goods.

3. Return & Replacement Process

3.1 Steps for All Claims

Goods shall not be returned unless the following conditions are met:

  1. The customer has notified us by email, stating the reason for the claim.
  2. Cylocybe have explicitly approved the return or replacement.

Once approved, Cylocybe will cover the cost of return transit using a method specified by us. Refunds are processed upon our receipt of the returned goods.

4. Non-Refundable Items

4.1 Exceptions

Please note that the following items are non-refundable and non-replaceable unless they arrive faulty as described in Section 2:

  • Any used Mushroom Grow Kit or SporeKitâ„¢.
  • Any item with a broken or removed seal.
  • Personalised, bespoke, or made-to-order items.
