3% Hydrogen Peroxide (1000mL)

1 L bottle of 3 % hydrogen peroxide for mushroom cultivation. Spray to stop cobweb mould on contact, sanitise tools and humidifier water, then let it break down to water and oxygen.

Hydrogen Peroxide 3 % (Cobweb Mould Control)

Cobweb mould (Cladobotryum) can smother a fruiting block in 24 hours. A fine mist of 3 % hydrogen peroxide bursts its hyphae on contact, stopping the spread while leaving mushroom mycelium untouched. The solution then breaks down into water and oxygen—no residues, no extra rinsing.

Main Uses

  • Treat outbreaks : Spray the fuzzy grey area and 2 cm beyond with undiluted 3 % H2O2. Repeat 12 hours later if growth reappears.
  • Spot prevention : Lightly mist casing layers or tub walls after each harvest to discourage spores settling.
  • Tool & surface sanitising : Wipe gloves, scalpels and mist bottles between tubs.
  • Humidifier care : Add 5 mL per litre of reservoir water to keep biofilm down.
