Alright, let’s talk about a true legend: TTBVI. If you’ve spent any time in the community, you’ve definitely heard the name whispered in forums or seen it win competitions. This isn’t just another Pan Cyan; for many, this is the Pan Cyan.

The name sounds a bit like a code, but it’s actually a cool origin story. It stands for Tamarind Tree British Virgin Islands—the exact place this amazing mushroom was first discovered. It then went on to win the Magic Myco Family’s Cultivar Cup, cementing its status as one of the most potent strains on the planet.

While these spores were taken from a lab-produced specimen and should be extremely clean, we will not replace any speciality Pan Cyan spores or take a contamination report, as it is assumed the buyer is experienced in spore microscopy and knows how to handle them. If inexperienced with microscopy, we recommend our Psilocybe cubensis spores instead.

The Story Behind the Legend

So, how did this all start? Believe it or not, it was a total accident. A Reddit user named ‘TamarindTreeBVI’ stumbled upon the original mushroom in a pasture out in the BVI. They shared it, and from there, the community took over.

Dedicated mycologists, including the well-known ‘Gordo’, got their hands on it, worked to stabilise the genetics, and helped introduce it to the rest of us. It’s a perfect example of how the community can turn a lucky find into a global phenomenon.

What Makes TTBVI Special?

As a ‘Pan Cyan’, it’s a classic dung-lover that bruises a deep, vivid blue and drops jet-black spores. But here’s the interesting twist: the wild mushrooms that started it all were actually quite large. The TTBVI we study today, however, is known for producing smaller, dense clusters. The trade-off? Absolutely incredible potency packed into each one.
